Joe Digital capped off Season 12 with a ninety-minute, finale pre-show, live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The show featured our hosts, idol maven, Jim Cantiello and Season 10 star, Pia Toscano, live performances, pre-taped contestant and comedic packages, and non-stop red carpet action. Sir Anthony Hopkins and Nicki Minaj on the same live show? Yep, that happened.

Joe Digital executive produced, designed, and executed on all facets of American Idol’s digital presence for Season 12 and XIII. We partnered with Fox and co-managed the very first, truly 360 degree, multi-platform effort to bring the ultimate singing competition to the masses. We produced a raft of new content franchises, over 1,500 original videos, numerous articles and other exclusives, as well as all of the real-time content for the award-winning Idol Live-sync app, allowing Fox to experience massive year-to-year, and week-to-week increases in all relevant metrics across all platforms, including AI.com, YouTube, Hulu, and the official mobile platforms.
